Later, visitors board a local boat to cruise past floating houses and visit a floating fish farm, providing insights into the region's significant fish farming industry.

  ▪️ Before dawn breaks, the cruise will set sail from Phnom Penh towards the quaint Angkor Ban village along the Mekong River. Awaken to the gentle motion of the cruise and prepare for breakfast in the dining room.

  ▪️ Tour the rural Angkor Ban village where time stand still. You will be transported back a hundred years into an era unaffected by modernity. The houses here are truly rustic, made by hand and without any concrete. Angkor Ban village is renowned for its pristine community and charming traditional houses, offering a glimpse into a bygone era untouched by modernity. Experience the warmth and hospitality of the villagers, who welcome you with open arms.

  ▪️ Back on board, our staff showcases a variety of traditional Khmer fashion before serving lunch.

  ▪️ Continuing our journey up the Mekong, tourist will visit a local school supported by an NGO, gaining insight into the education of Cambodia's youth. The children eagerly display their musical and artistic talents, radiating joy with every applause. Alternatively, you can choose to visit the nearby ancient 300-year-old temple and Buddha shrine.

• DAY 6: Kampong Cham - Wat Hanchey

  ▪️ Return to the cruise to witness a blessing ceremony conducted by orange-clad local monks, infusing the atmosphere with spirituality and tranquility, imparting blessings for health and prosperity to all passengers. • DAY 7: Kampong Cham - Kampong Chhnang

  ▪️ This morning, the Jahan will approach Kampong Chhnang, Cambodia’s “Water World” where everything is on stilts balanced on water rich soil – an awesome sight while practicing Tai Chi on the deck.
  ▪️ Take a minivan to see the Khmer-styled pottery at the Aundaung Russey village. Then, get back to the river for an adventurous motorboat excursion to the wetlands, floating houses and fish farms in the region. The village has no electricity and has around 600 villagers.
  ▪️ You then return to the cruise for lunch while cruising the narrow and meandering Tonle Sap River. A presentation about the Mekong and the Tonle River is offered as the ship sails downstream, passing Phnom Penh before entering the Mekong River.

  ▪️ In the evening, a sumptuous dinner will be served. And for the big entertainment – bring along your dance shoes and learn to jiggle Cambodian dance with cruise staff as dance instructors.

  
  

  
  

• DAY 8: Tonle Sap - Siem Reap

  ▪️ The Tonle Sap (The Great Lake) is the flowing heart of Cambodia, giving love and life to this nation.
  ▪️ Enjoy the stillness of the water and the quiet tranquility on the way to Siem Reap. The water level varies a great deal according to the time of the year and the amount of rainfall recorded. Thus, minor changes to the itinerary may occur during different seasons.

  ▪️ Enjoy your final breakfast aboard the Jahan cruise. You will disembark the cruise line and transfer by bus to Siem Reap, which takes approximately 4 hours. To keep you entertained during the journey, our guides will share interesting insights about Cambodia and the region we pass through. 
  
  ▪️ You will arrive in Siem Reap in the early afternoon.

After bidding farewell to the iconic sights of Angkor, you will embark on a brief journey to the pier at Tonle Sap Lake. Here, guests transfer to our luxurious "home" for the next few days, ready to embark on our unforgettable adventure.
  

  ▪️ Upon arrival on board, the Jahan cruise attentive crew will extend a warm welcome, assisting you to your stateooms and providing a comprehensive briefing on the cabin’s facilities.

  ▪️ Take some time to settle in and acquaint yourself with the vessel before indulging in a welcome lunch buffet. Following this, gather in the lobby for a safety and welcome briefing conducted by our cruise director. Follow up is a hearty lunch will be serve as your first meal on Jahan cruise.

  ▪️ While you savor your lunch, the vessel gracefully cruises over Tonle Lake, known as Tonle Sap in the Cambodian language. This remarkable lake undergoes a dramatic transformation, varying from 2,500 sqkm (965 sqmi) and 160 km (99 mi) in length during the dry season to an expansive 16,000 sqkm (6,000 sqmi) and 250 km (160 mi) in length during the wet season. The Tonle Sap has more fish than any other lake in the world and is home to an incredible variety of birds, including rare and endangered feathered life. Allow yourself to be mesmerized as the boat glides across the tranquil waters of the lake, letting your soul drift along with the gentle motion.

  ▪️ During afternoon tea time, mingle with fellow travelers and exchange stories while soaking in the ambiance on the decks. Alternatively, indulge in a pampering session by our skilled therapists at the Spa, treating yourself to a rejuvenating experience.

• DAY 2: Kampong Chhnang - Kampong Cham

  ▪️ Start the day with an invigorating Tai Chi lesson on the sun deck, just as the sun begins its slow rise. Coffee and tea awaits the early bird. Before dawn, the ship sets sail across the Tonle Lake. As the ship is about to exit the lake, you will see spectacular marshlands floating along the river banks of Kampong Chhnang province.
  ▪️ The afternoon cruise continues with a languid meander along the Tonle River, which narrows through leafy swaths of the Southeast Asian jungle. Here, the river is very narrow and tourists are greeted by kids waving enthusiastically at us from the banks.
  

  ▪️ Follow a short bus trip to the see the Khmer-styled pottery at the Aundaung Russey village. We then embark on a truly marvelous motorboat excursion from Kampong Chhnang to see the wetlands, floating houses and fish farms in the region before reaching Kampong Cham in the evening.
  

  ▪️ Further down the river we take part in an ox cart rally before being introduced to the Heritage Line pro bono “literacy project”.

• DAY 3: Kampong Cham - Wat Hanchey

  ▪️ After indulging in a sumptuous breakfast, you will embark on a bus journey to visit a local school, gaining insight into the education of Cambodia's young generation, supported by an NGO. The children here eagerly showcase their talents in music and art, brightening our visit with their smiles and enthusiasm.

  ▪️ Continuing our road trip, you will arrive at the enchanting pre-Angkorian temple of Wat Hanchey, dating back to the 7th century. Perched atop a hill by the shore, this small complex offers breathtaking views of the Mekong River. Take a motor-taxi or climb 291 steps to the top. Located at the top of a hill overlooking the river, this is one of the most breath-taking views in Cambodia.

  ▪️ Built in the 8th century, this ancient structure, together with a bigger and newer addition underscores the superb architecture of the Chenla Empire which predates the mighty Angkor temple complex. Get to engage in light banter with some of the monks in the area. You will return to the cruise to witness a blessing ceremony performed by orange-clad local monks.
  ▪️ Cruise towards Kampong Cham to visit Wat Nokor, a temple built within the ruins of an ancient temple which holds a timeless story.  Along the way, visitor will have to maneuver a 2-kilometer rickety bamboo bridge. Overnight midstream near Phnom Penh.

  
  

• DAY 4: Phnom Penh

  ▪️ Welcome to Phnom Penh - a remarkable destination on cruise line, often referred to as the "Paris of the East" in days past. Despite its rapid modernization, the city has managed to preserve much of its rustic charm and elegance. Phnom Penh is a captivating destination steeped in centuries of rich history and culture, which can still be experienced at every turn of its bustling streets. 
  ▪️ After breakfast on cruise, visitor will be captivated by a comprehensive lecture on Cambodia’s modern history through a city tour, visiting the dazzling white and gold edifice of the Royal Palace and the Silver Pagoda, and witnessing exceptionally beautiful Khmer craft at the National Museum.
  ▪️ Visitors will take lunch at a fine restaurant in town, continue to sight-seeing the Genocide Museum and the Killing Field in town to understand more about the magnanimous history during Cambodia’s Khmer Rouge regime. Those places have not changed much since this horrific time back in the early seventies and it can be quite heartbreaking. 
  ▪️ After your museum visit, get back to the ship and take a rest on your cabin balcony or the lounge and get prepared for an exciting evening event. The evening starts with a variety of cocktails served on the sun deck. Take a seat and enjoy the following Apsara dance performance. Experience the brilliance and richness of this culture, the soothing sounds of traditional music, the calming scent of incense sticks and a barbeque on the sun deck. • DAY 5: Phnom Penh - Border Crossing

  ▪️ In the morning, the cruise line sets sail for a lazy day of cruising along the main Mekong Channel, an international shipping route, you will witness large commercial ships plying this route.

  ▪️ The lounge is arranged for an enthralling lecture on Cambodian modern history, led by a professor from the Royal University of Phnom Penh. This session promises to be a highlight of our cruise, offering firsthand knowledge from an expert who has extensively studied the subject.

  ▪️ The entire afternoon is yours to enjoy at your leisure. As you continue your journey along the mighty river, embrace the therapeutic influence it exudes. Whether you choose to indulge in massages, bask in the sun on the deck, or simply relax on your private balcony, it's time to immerse yourself in the tranquility of the river. For those interested, a visit to the bridge to hear stories from the captain about the river is also an option. Don't forget to join us for lunch around noon.

• DAY 6: Chau Doc - Sa Dec

  ▪️ Welcome to the fish sanctuary of Vietnam. Begin your day with a hearty breakfast either at the dining hall or in the tranquil privacy of your balcony. After breakfast, take a short excursion in Chau Doc, a pleasant town near the Cambodian border with sizable Chinese, Kinh and Khmer communities.

  ▪️ Prepare for an immersive tour around Chau Doc, a serene town nestled near the Cambodian border, boasting a diverse community of Chinese, Kinh, and Khmer ethnicities. Upon arrival ashore, you will embark on "xelois," local vehicles still utilized as taxis in this region, to leisurely explore Chau Doc's streets, workshops, and residences. Experience the laid-back atmosphere of this charming locale, stopping at the vibrant local market near one of the town's temples to engage with friendly vendors and hone your bargaining skills.

  ▪️ Next, visitors board local boats to cruise along floating houses until reaching a floating fish farm, where you gain exclusive insights into fish farming practices that supply fish worldwide. After enjoy watching schools of basa fish being fed by hand, get back to the ship for a lunch. Meanwhile, cruise line expert guides offer a presentation on life in the Mekong Delta as the ship continues its journey to My An Hung near the Sa Dec province. Take this opportunity to mingle with fellow passengers and share stories.

  ▪️ In the mid afternoon, the Jahan cruise will set off for My An Hung Village. Walk to the family house through the vegetable garden to see the boat building yard, canals, then cross a monkey bridge and see chili, corn and beetle nut plantations among other vegetable fields. Then gather at the family’s house to taste tea with honey with local delicacies and fruits before back to the ship to set off for Sa Dec. 

  ▪️ As the Jahan cruise downstream the Mekong, refresh and prepare for dinner on board. The ship moors mid-river near Sa Dec, marking the end of another memorable day on your journey through the Mekong Delta. In the late afternoon cast off and overnight in Sa Dec.

  

• DAY 7: Sa Dec - Cai Be - My Tho

  ▪️ During the breakfast time, the cruise line arrive at the island of Binh Thanh. In the morning, embark a traditional sampan (a flat bottomed traditional Vietnamese wooden boat) to tour Binh Thanh Island and its man-made canals. This island is one of the larger ones in the vast stream of the Mekong. Some communities have settled here and make their living by growing water hyazinths.

  ▪️ Visitor visit exclusively one of those untouched areas. By wandering through the village you will get a deep understanding of the native life. Here, every villager is involved in the process of growing and processing water hyacinths into natural fibre floor mats and rattan baskets. Moreover, guests can follow the whole process of ratt making and even try yourself the weaving which is still done manually. Travelers will meet some old local people who share with us their story on this island and happy for any chit-chat with you.

  ▪️ After lunch onboard, the ship arrives in Cai Be. Cai Be is a charming small town, famous for its Catholic French church and manufacturing of traditional crafts and food products. The tour starts with a visit to Cai Be’s boisterous and colorful floating market where traders gather in a cacophonous congregation. During the languid ride, we discover breathtaking landscapes along the river and quaff the rustic life on the Mekong Delta. The evergreen islands along the Mekong River remains unknown to many people.

  ▪️ The cruise allow us to observe how rice paste, rice cookies and coconut candies are made, along with the Longan fruit drying process. After touring the canals, we head to an ancient house surrounded by fruit orchards before heading to the ship for dinner.
  ▪️ Board the ship for a tranquil evening cruise towards My Tho. A wonderful farewell party awaits us on the terrace deck. Overnight on the Jahan Cruise.

  
  

• DAY 8: My Tho - Saigon

  ▪️ Disembark at around 8:30 am and then transfer to the busting life of Saigon. Disembarkation in the early morning for a coach transfer to InterContinental Asiana Saigon Hotel. Arrive at the hotel late morning.
